I'm a fan of the Batfamily. I go through phases of other canons eating my brains (ex: Homestuck, Utena).

My favourite characters are inevitably the fucked-up ones that do terrible things to and for the people and have lots of feelings they fail at.

Cities are the landscape of my heart.

a moment they chose to forget

Once, back when they were on the roads and Iselia was only a speck among others on Raine’s maps, Genis called her “mom”. It sounded forced, trying too hard for casual.

He winced when she turned, but she didn’t raise her hand; just looked.

“You know I’m not,” she calmly said.

Genis’ cheeks burned longer and deeper than if she’d slapped him.

Following the #DirectSénat tag on twitter (same-sex marriage) is making me want to punch things.

They’re not homophobic but.

y’know, it really is a testament to the yeerk’s piss-poor organization, and visser three’s stupidity, that the animorphs weren’t outted as humans from the start.

i mean, an elephant shows up on tv smashing cars for no damn reason (reading book 3 rn), and any decently paranoid controller (they’re…

The Yeerks were working from the position that no Andalite would imitate Seerow’s Kindness. They’re the one species with the most grounds to believe that, aside from the Andalites themselves.

It makes much more sense, from a Yeerk and an Andalite point of view, to think the warriors with morphing abilities were Andalites that had survived their ship being shot down. (It could have happened, after all; Ax survived it.)

Anyone knows how to view all the tweets on a tag (instead of merely the “top” category) on the Twitter app?

I’m missing the major part of the comments on #DirectSenat and it makes me a sad panda.

Time to save the world from parasitic bodysnatching aliens, that’s what time it is! Woooooo!

Wow, the Cassie-bashing on some forums is really toxic. Cassie never was one of my favourite characters, but the vitriol that gets thrown at her is upsetting.

So much of the bashing boils down to hating her because she voices her moral concerns, it’s surreal. (I don’t see the same vitriol sent Marco or Rachel’s way - no, it’s always Cassie and Tobias, the two more moral/peace-loving characters.) Apparently, Cassie somehow “held the rest of the team back”. Yeah, because throwing one’s morality to the winds and adopting a winning-at-all-costs morality would absolutely be a step forward. >_> Apparently being concerned about ethics makes her a terrible person in a war? How dare she express her own opinion.

I could go on but seriously fuck this.

Anyone knows of an Animorphs/Hunger Games fusion? One where the Animorphs characters are going through their own Games, and that doesn’t spoil the Hunger Games?
